Book quickly for “High Impact Presentations” with Jon Torrens, communication coach, former professional stand-up comic & computer game designer

Jon Torrens

Delivering effective, punchy & confident presentations is a great skill to master; kicking off the CamAWiSE workshop programme for this year is “High Impact Presentations” with Jon Torrens on 24th September, 8-10pm.

I went to one of Jon’s workshops a few months ago and his style of training, and intensely practical and audience-centric approach, was refreshing.

Places are strictly limited on this workshop so please book quickly.  We are offering preferential booking to CamAWiSE members until Tuesday 10th September, after which booking will be open to all.

“Jon Torrens teaches people how to enjoy public speaking. His students gain confidence through approaching the whole communication process creatively.

Jon is a former professional stand-up comic and computer game designer, providing bespoke training to enable you to win pitches, give high impact presentations, and have meetings with no wasted time. His public speaking and coaching philosophy is based on his stand-up comedy experience: ‘Be creative, convincing and concise.’

On September 24th he’ll talk about how to deliver great presentations, including the specifics of writing, delivery, creativity and nerves. He’ll ask some of you to get up and speak, he’ll improvise, and he may even be funny (no promises, though). Come ready to get involved, improve your skills and enjoy yourself.”

If you’d like to take advantage of our priority booking period, and have not yet become a member, you’ll find joining instructions here.
