CamAWiSE Mentoring Programme 2021

We are thrilled to announce that the CamAWiSE Mentoring programme is now open for applications! If you have an interest in STEMM and are looking for a professional development opportunity that can help you gain new skills and make new connections, then do take the step and participate in our Mentoring programme.

The CamAWiSE Mentoring Programme launched in 2020 as a pilot, and following the success of that initial cohort, we are running the programme again in 2021 – you can read more about the experience at the programme in this interview with Becky Hall, one of the 2020 mentors. Applications to the Mentoring programme are now open until March 12

The programme runs for six months, from April to September 2021. Anyone with an academic or a professional interest in STEMM can apply, independent of whether you are located in Cambridge or elsewhere. Participants will be provided with documentation and support by CamAWiSE as they progress through the programme, CamAWiSE will also run an online orientation session at the launch of the programme where we will cover mentoring, the schedule of the programme and some tips for developing the mentoring relationship. Further information about the programme is available in the participant Handbook.

We welcome applications from both mentors and mentees. There is no prior knowledge of mentoring required to participate as a mentor and there are no gender restrictions.

If you have a question or would like to know more about the programme, please do contact us at info@camawise.org.uk.

Do not have time now to participate? Do not worry, why not join CamAWiSE as a member or sign up for our newsletter where we provide regular updates on our events and activities.
