Making an impression: Presenting with Confidence

Whether for internal or external audiences, many of us have to give talks and presentations about our work, projects and activities. Dr Kalia will review essential presentation skills, including effective speaking/use of voice, the basics of appearance, content (including slides/visuals), dissecting the key parts of a successful talk, storytelling elements and handling questions. We will also cover the differences between presenting in-person and online and how you can make the most of either situation. 

No matter whether you are a seasoned presenter or if the idea fills you with trepidation, you will take away tips and techniques to develop this transferable skill and help you deliver your next talk with confidence. There will be tea and coffee available and a chance to network and catch up, both with familiar faces...and new!
