About CamAWiSE
Cambridge AWiSE is a voluntary network for women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine (STEMM) in industry and academia.
We support recruitment, retention, promotion and a return to a STEMM career after a break. We bring together women with common interests and act as a source of support, information, and inspiration. We aim to help women stay in STEMM and make the most of their careers. We provide regular workshops, training, talks, networking opportunities and information through our website and newsletter.
Cambridge AWiSE members include academics, women in industry, post-doctoral research scientists, post-graduate students and women who run their own businesses. Our members come from all career stages, from Undergraduates to Company Directors and Professors. Although based in Cambridge, we welcome anyone from the Eastern Region (and beyond!). We welcome ALL genders and non-STEMM.

Our 2025 Mentoring Programme is now taking applications! Open to students, researchers, and professionals in STEMM, this inclusive initiative offers a unique opportunity to expand your professional network, gain valuable skills, and explore new career paths.
