The Cambridge Association for Women in Science and Engineering “Relaunch your Career” conference: reposition, seek promotion or re-enter the workforce after a career break.

 

CAMBRIDGE,UK, 23 October 2017 – Women in Science and Engineering looking for promotion, repositioning themselves or re-entering the STEMM workforce after a career break do not have to look further for advice, training or support. The Cambridge Association for Women in Science and Engineering (CamAWiSE) “Relaunch your Career” conference will be hosted at the British Antarctic Survey (BAS), in the newly opened Aurora Centre on the 4 November 2017.

 

Participants are invited for a full days training, workshops and panel discussion led by experts who bring a wealth of experience. The morning will be devoted to identifying; skills, job flexibility, confidence, and negotiation. Following a lunch break, the workshops will give you hands-on experience on creating an effective online presence, crafting your CV and finding your career anchors, pinpointing your motives and values. The final session is a panel discussion of inspirational woman in STEMM. The women will candidly discuss their career journeys, their successes, and failures. An ideal opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.

A full day of training for women with a background in Science, Technology, IT, Engineering, Maths, and Medicine, it will include expert speakers, workshops and plenty of networking opportunities.” CamAWiSE.
