Registration: “Dream, Dare, Do”

A joint event organised by Cambridge Businesswomen’s Network, St Mary’s School and Cambridge AWiSE.

Kate AtkinKate Atkin works with a wide variety of organisations, teams and individuals.   Since starting her own business in September 2000, over 95% of her work has come through networking and personal recommendations. Kate has spoken to international audiences in Las Vegas, Malta, Jersey, Barcelona and Mongolia, as well as running a networking workshop at an international event in London for Women in Business in the Arab World.

Through her speaking, training and coaching Kate inspires change, instils self-belief and encourages confidence. Using her own experiences as a manager and from life, she brings the theories alive. Kate is author of The Confident Manager which is receiving wide acclaim for its practical lessons and readable style.

Between October 2011 and June 2012 Kate supported her husband in his 2500 mile walk round England to raise awareness of mental health issues.  Through her PR efforts they were featured on BBC Radio 4 and interviewed by the Daily Mail, as well as many other local press and radio interviews.  The walk has raised over £13,000 for SANE and Anxiety UK.

Kate is a member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development, Association for Coaching, Professional Speaking Association, Toastmasters International and Senator of Junior Chamber International.

Our joint event organised by CBN, AWiSE and St Mary’s School is always great fun with lots of opportunities to meet other women, students from the sixth form and teachers at St Mary’s.  The evening will start at 6.30pm with informal networking and a buffet supper.
