Remembering Dr Jenny Brookman

Dr Jenny Brookman (CamAWiSE Chair Dowager) sadly passed away last year in July 2020. Jenny Brookman was one of the early founding members of Cambridge AWiSE, working with Joan Mason (1923-2004) and Dame Anne McLaren (1927-2007), who both played a fundamental role in the setting up of Cambridge AWiSE. Jenny’s guidance and presence is missed by many. Jenny served as the Chair and Treasurer for Cambridge AWiSE for many years, where she met and created deep meaningful relationships with women in STEMM across the Cambridge region and beyond.
CamAWiSE is now able to coordinate an in-person celebration of Jenny, alongside with her family and Newnham College which she was a member of.
